SaaS-it Consult was established in March 2008 with a vision to help the IT industry understand what implications the new SaaS business models and cloud computing as a delivery platform have on their present and future business.

For too long, the IT industry has dictated its own standards for sales, distribution, and marketing - driven by technology innovation rather than necessarily meeting the real needs of end customers. In fact, customers have been incredibly patient.

Three years have passed, and we have travelled from Seattle in West to Moscow in East, from Iceland in North to Greece in South to preach our message: The IT industry has to adapt to new business models. Or, in fact, old business models that have existed in other lines of business, e.g. retail, for decades.

Our efforts have paid off, and today we work for multinational technology providers, independent software vendors, hosting companies and resellers all over the world.

They realise that driving down IT costs is essential for both resellers and end customers, and we help them turn their business focus from technical sales to meet customers’ needs, i.e. from customer push to service pull.
